In the coming two or three years all Astrakhan river fleet including crafts, motor boats and small-sized vessels will be equipped with GLONASS navigation systems. These navigation terminals will help to continuously track ships in inland waterways. Virtually all large-sized river vessels have already been connected to GLONASS satellite-based navigation system.
